Community Involvement
British Columbia has an incredible system of parks and protected areas.
BC Parks cares for these parks and protected areas as a sacred
trust, but we do not do it alone!
Involvement Framework
The Community Involvement Framework was developed to establish consistent criteria and guiding principles for BC Parks while developing community relationships in the following areas: Volunteers, First Nation Partnerships, Community Partnerships, Partnerships/Sponsorships/Donations, Corporate Partnerships, Society Partnerships, Sponsorships and Bequests/Donations/ Endowments.
BC Parks hopes this framework will help engage the community at large to work with us to ensure the long-term sustainability of the parks system economically, socially and environmentally.

Becoming a BC Parks Partner!
BC Parks cares for almost 1,000 parks and protected areas. The ability to continue to protect and enhance one of the world's finest network of parks depends very much on assistance and support from our friends, volunteers and partners.
A BC Parks partner is any business, agency or individual interested in helping BC Parks to care for and preserve the Province's parks and protected areas while marketing and promoting appropriate recreation and other opportunities to park visitors.
